New Frontier Theater is a classic entertainment landmark situated in the historic Araneta City. Built in the heart of J. Amado Araneta’s visionary central business district in Quezon City, it fits perfectly within the 35-hectare city within a city, merging seamlessly with business, leisure, shopping, dining, hospitality, and residential options – all in one strategic location.
The theater first opened in 1967 as a multi-purpose events hall that offered additional features like skating rinks and cinema. It has been transformed into an ultra-modern theater and equipped with the latest in audio and lighting technologies as part of the massive Araneta City redevelopment project.
The theater underwent major renovation works in 2014 and reopened in August 2015 under the name Kia Theater. It has since hosted a slew of international and local acts such as Russel Peters, Little Mix, Charlie Puth, A1, Gary Valenciano, Martin Nievera, Ogie Alcasid, Sarah Geronimo, GOT7, Moira, The Moffats, Day6, Taeyeon, Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, Alden Richards, Daniel Ceasar, Boy Pablo, Itzy, NCT Dream, and many others.
In October 2018, it reverted to its original name – New Frontier Theater.
Through the years, it has earned a reputation as among the country’s premier performing arts venues. It also features al-fresco dining restaurants, coffee shops, and other top retail brands along its perimeter to provide a complete entertainment experience.
